Job Description:  We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to work with our highly successful Healthcare SaaS platform.

• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives
• Healthcare industry knowledge (preferred)

Experience

5+ years solid development experience in a full-stack/database development role

• Database design/data modeling
• Database software development experience (stored procedures)
• MySQL database administration experience/strong knowledge (configuration, replication, backups, etc.)
• Database optimization and performance tuning (develop/tuning indexes, query optimization)
• Programming experience with PHP, Java, Nodejs or similar language
• Project Management/Git-based Version Control (JIRA/Bitbucket preferred)

Bonus Qualifications:

• Cloud experience, Google Cloud (GCP) or Oracle OCI/Heatwave preferred 
• NoSQL databases
• Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Scala and big data processing experience/knowledge
