We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to work with our highly successful Healthcare SaaS platform.

Position Overview

The Sr. QA Automation Engineer will work with our QA and development teams to improve the quality of our software. This position requires a high level of responsibility, ownership and autonomy. They will convert test cases into robust and reliable automation suites and ensure consistent automation solutions are delivered.  They will also coach junior Automation Engineers and provide guidance through peer code reviews and technical design reviews. The ideal candidate will have software development experience with a degree in Computer Science. Qualified candidates can work part-time or full-time (with part-time converting to full-time after several months).

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Provide input for the planning, integration, casing, scripting and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project
• Contribute towards writing of automation scripts of manual test cases
• Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration using CI/CD tools
• Execute test scripts/cases and communicate testing results
• Conduct root cause analysis and correlation of other systems and/or problems of moderate complexity
• Report progress on problem resolution to management
• Provide training to other members as needed
• Recommend improvements to testing processes
• Perform work accurately and completely in a timely manner
• Knowledge of web development security best practices
• Efficient, organized and manage multiple projects at a time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience/Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• Adheres to all company policies and mandatory compliance protocols as required by ProCARE Portal

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with automated testing frameworks for front-end and backend applications
• Experience in high performance systems with highly scalable designs
• Development and implementation of functional, performance/load and regression test suites
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to refine scope and define acceptance criteria
• Triage incoming feedback and log defects that are clear and actionable to engineers
• Define, modify and document QA processes as team and product needs change
• Healthcare industry knowledge (preferred)
